Nhân Ngày Thế giới Phòng chống Sốt rét, chúng ta hãy cùng ghi nhận những tiến bộ tuyệt vời của Việt Nam trong nỗ lực loại trừ căn bệnh lây truyền do muỗi này. Trong năm 2024, Việt Nam báo cáo số ca mắc thấp kỉ lục là 353 ca. So với báo cáo của năm 2019, con số này đã giảm hơn 90%. Mục tiêu của Việt Nam là loại trừ sốt rét vào năm 2030.

In the remotest parts of Viet Nam, commune health workers like Vang Thi Hac are helping make Viet Nam malaria-free.
On #WorldMalariaDay, we are celebrating Viet Nam’s wonderful progress to end this mosquito-borne disease. Last year, the country reported a record low number of cases – just 353 cases – a drop of more than 90% since 2019. The aim: malaria elimination by 2030.
